Another quality county performance by Parks
Matt lonie in the singles was the first and was quickly followed by 2 triples, one skipped by Steve Dorrell and the other by Chris Taylor, to go through to the serious stages of the county competition and the Divisional Semi Finals. On thursday they were joined by Adrian Phipps in the Unbadged Singles.

Bitter taste from (a) Sandwich
Despite the brilliant performance from the triples, the men went out in the Top Club competition to a determined Sandwich. Scores over all disciplines were extremely tight and could have gone either way. The fours came back brilliantly to just one shot in a performance that demonstrated the Park's never say die team spirit.

Delight at Vicky Park in Top Club Comp
Cometh the hour cometh the man. That man being Dave Potter. With the scores 2 a piece, with Parks winning the Triples and Fours, it was down to a determined display from Dave Potter to keep his nerve and snatch victory in the singles from the jaws of defeat in two thrawling ends. Well done boys!!! Next round Vs Sandwich!

Double Fours against Ashford Town defeat!
Parks men played on the new green at Ashford Town. Despite winning one rink convincingly, the other rink also lost convincingly. Conditions were not good and the green had never been played on before as it was a new green for 2006. Better luck next year.
